Israel Asks Binance to Halt All Activities In That Country

Binance had to freeze all business and marketing activities for Israeli citizens, due to an issue over licensing.

Israel’s governmental body, Capital Markets, Insurance, and Savings Authority, blocked Binance because the company never submitted an application for a licence to do business in this country, although Binance enlisted shekel as a payment option more than two years ago.

Until the issue with the licence is resolved, trading in Israel’s legal tender will be impossible on Binance’s website.

Despite the fact that Binance officially wishes to comply with local regulation, this is another licence dispute Binance is having at the moment, along with countries such as Germany, the UK, Malaysia, Japan, and Singapore, to name only a few.
