LayerZero protocol raised $135 million in investments

Developers of the omni-chain protocol LayerZero have raised $135M in a $1B Series A+. Invest giants Sequoia, FTX Ventures, and Andreessen Horowitz led the funding.

The LayerZero protocol aims to connect different blockchains, allowing applications to pass messages between chains. The project is to combine the economic efficiency of Polkadot and the security of Cosmos.

LayerZero supports blockchains from leading projects such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, and Fantom.
