Line messenger will launch an NFT platform
The Japanese company Line, the operator of the messenger of the same name, announced the launch of the NFT marketplace on April 13, 2022.
The NFT platform was created based on LINE Blockchain’s network. Users will be able to store assets in the BITMAX Wallet. At launch, the marketplace will feature over 100 NFTs from the collections of 17 partner creators.
Among them is the largest entertainment Yoshimoto Kogyo. The Japanese conglomerate will offer unique videos from collaborating performers and artists.
The company will distribute some of the collectable digital items for free as part of the platform’s marketing campaign launched on March 24.
In the future, users will be able to use NFTs as avatars, prizes, and other use cases in the messenger ecosystem.
