Qualcomm invests $100M in metaverse technologies
Chipmaker Qualcomm has founded a $100 million investment fund. The capital will be used to create and improve technologies for the metaverses.
The created organization will be called the Snapdragon Metaverse Fund. The main purpose of the investment institution will be to support companies and developers in the creation of metaverses, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality.
Qualcomm plans to raise capital for metaverses developing through a combination of venture investments from Qualcomm Ventures and a Qualcomm Technologies grant program. The company will provide participants with early access to metaverse technology and co-marketing opportunities.
