In his recent post on Twitter, Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov called for donations in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether, sharing the wallet addresses. The donations are much needed as Ukraine struggles to fight the Russian troops invading the country.

At the beginning, there wasn’t much funds coming to the addresses as there was a rumor that the Fedorov’s Twitter account was hacked. However, eventually it became clear that the account was legit, which led to a quick inflow of donations. The Ukrainian government already received more than $9 million in crypto, mostly in Ethereum. At time of press, some of the Bitcoin was already withdrawn from the wallet.
