According to DappRadar, the blockchain-based gaming sector is still going strong, despite the crypto winter. The number of transactions related to gaming is some 173 million. This is significantly higher than the number of transactions related to the second most popular crypto-related sector, decentralized finance, which amounts to some 8.8 million.

Alien Worlds and Splinterlands are two of the most popular blockchain-based gaming projects, with some 196,000 and 147,000 players, respectively. They’re running on WAX and Binance Smart Chain.

As for the highest overall value of all transactions, the game Axie Infinity is still on the top. As we reported yesterday, despite the trouble that Axie Infinity finds itself in, its total NFT sales have increased by more than 205% over the past seven days.
