Masonic Grand Lodge in Argentina is launching the global Freemasons’ first-ever NFT collection. In total, the collection will consist of 77 NFTs, featuring imagery from Freemasons’ history and lore.
Their square-and-compass symbol and checkered floor patterns, for instance, will be visible on the NFTs’ digital artwork. Even the number 77 is symbolic of having a spiritual significance in Freemasons’ teachings.
Part of the proceeds from selling NFTs will go toward charity, including an orphanage and a center for immigrants’ rights. According to the Lodge’s representative, the organization is looking to utilize NFTs to raise its philanthropic efforts to a new level.
This is another piece of news having to do with Argentina’s crypto adoption. Last week, we reported that the residents of its Mendoza province can now pay taxes with crypto.
