Halving

Every four years, an important event called Bitcoin Halving occurs, signifying one of the most important pieces of Bitcoin-related news of the year. As the name implies, Halving cuts the supply of new Bitcoins that are created in half, while also doing the same with the amount of Bitcoin that miners receive for validating blocks on its blockchain. Currently, the reward for each mining each block amounts to 6.25 BTC, and after the next Halving, it will be 3.125. As a result, the inflation rate is reduced and the value of Bitcoin increases.
